Zamislite ocean. Ponekad su valovi manji, ponekad ve\u0107i. Bez obzira na to \u0161to radimo, valovi nastavljaju dolaziti. Nau\u010dite osnove<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ve\u0107ina nas ne bi u\u0161la u ocean i poku\u0161ala surfati valom od pet metara bez da prvo nau\u010di osnove. Vjerojatno bismo krenuli u surfanje slu\u0161aju\u0107i savjete iskusnih surfera ili trenera, koji nam mogu objasniti osnove. Ili bismo pro\u010ditali &#8220;Kako nau\u010diti surfati&#8221; i proveli sate gledaju\u0107i kako to rade drugi. No kad je rije\u010d o emocijama, iz nekog razloga od nas se o\u010dekuje da instinktivno znamo kako njima surfati ili \u0161to s njima \u010diniti. Ustvari, nau\u010diti kako upravljati\u00a0emocijama svodi se na vje\u0161tinu poput svake druge. Ona zahtijeva da nau\u010dimo razumjeti osnove &#8211; razli\u010dite vrste emocija, \u010demu slu\u017ee, kako se snalaziti me\u0111u njima &#8211; i da tada stavimo\u00a0teoriju u praksu i tako ju savladamo.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. Namo\u010dite noge<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jednom kad znamo osnove, vrijeme je da u\u0111emo u vodu. Krenut \u0107emo veslaju\u0107i do to\u010dke prelamanja valova i visjeti tamo satima kako bismo dobili osje\u0107aj valova &#8211; njihove veli\u010dine, brzine kojom dolaze. Potrebno je upoznati se s njima kako bismo znali kako na njih odgovoriti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Isto vrijedi i za na\u0161e emocije. Jednom kad razumijemo osnove, vrijeme je da umo\u010dimo noge, da gledamo valove kako dolaze i odlaze, prepoznaju\u0107i razli\u010dite osje\u0107aje i u\u010dimo se imenovati ih. Ako ste poput ve\u0107ine ljudi, vjerojatno mo\u017eete samo prepoznati osje\u0107ate li se &#8220;dobro&#8221; ili &#8220;lo\u0161e&#8221;. Mo\u017eda mo\u017eete oti\u0107i i korak dalje i definirati &#8220;sretno&#8221;, &#8220;tu\u017eno&#8221;, &#8220;ljuto&#8221; i &#8220;prestra\u0161eno&#8221;. To nije dovoljno da budete sposobni surfati emocijama. No \u0161to to\u010dnije opi\u0161emo vlastite emocije, to \u0107emo kasnije biti bolji u surfanju njima.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">3. Poku\u0161ajte shvatiti vremenske uvjete<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Valovi se ne pojavljuju magi\u010dno sami od sebe. Oni su kompleksni rezultat odre\u0111enih vremenskih uvjeta, tokova, vjetrova i pritisaka u atmosferi. Razumjeti podru\u010dje u kojem surfate kao i vremenske uvjete trenutka klju\u010dno je kako biste izbjegli nesre\u0107e i zaista surfali u skladu s valovima. I emocije, poput valova, ne dolaze niotkuda. One uvijek imaju izvor &#8211; bez obzira na to je li to situacija oko nas ili misli koje prolaze kroz glavu. Svaki osje\u0107aj tu je s razlogom i trebamo razumjeti otkud dolazi. Tuga dolazi kad smo ne\u0161to izgubili ili smo na pragu gubljenja ne\u010dega. Ljutnja se javlja kad svjedo\u010dimo nepravdi ili nam se ne\u0161to isprije\u010di na putu ostvarenja ciljeva. Strah se javlja kad smo u opasnosti ili vjerujemo da se s ne\u010dim ne mo\u017eemo nositi. Ponos osje\u0107amo kad postignemo ne\u0161to nama va\u017eno, a sre\u0107a kad stvari idu dobro.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u010cesto ne razumijemo odakle dolazi osje\u0107aj ili \u0161to ga je izazvalo. Stoga, trebamo staviti svoj detektivski \u0161e\u0161ir i istra\u017eiti: O \u010demu sam razmi\u0161ljao\/la? \u0160to se upravo dogodilo u mojem \u017eivotu?<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">4. Sprijateljite se s valovima<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ne biramo valove u oceanu, oni jednostavno nastavljaju dolaziti. Kad nam je dosta surfanja za taj dan, oni svejedno ne\u0107e\u00a0stati ili usporiti. Valovi se uvijek kre\u0107u. Boriti se protiv njih ili ih poku\u0161avati zaustaviti je beznadno, ne bismo uop\u0107e trebali poku\u0161avati. Trebamo nau\u010diti kako surfati na njima, kako bismo pro\u0161li to\u010dku lomljenja vala i vratili se na obalu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Da, postoje trenuci u kojima nam je jednostavno dosta vlastitih emocija i samo \u017eelimo da nestanu. No stvar je u tome da \u0161to se vi\u0161e borimo protiv tih osje\u0107aja, oni postaju sve ja\u010di. Jedini na\u010din da pro\u0111emo kroz te osje\u0107aje je da ih prihvatimo, pustimo da pro\u0111u i poslu\u0161amo \u0161to imaju za re\u0107i.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">5. Upregnite snagu valova<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kad svladavate surfanje valova u oceanu, mo\u017eete ih koristiti da do\u0111ete s jednog mjesta na drugo ili da biste izvodili\u00a0neke druge trikove. Kad budete stvarno\u00a0dobri u tome, znat \u0107ete kako uroniti u snagu i energiju vala da s njim u\u010dinite \u0161to \u017eelite.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Emocije su tu da vas vode kroz \u017eivot. One nas opremaju s to\u010dno tim \u0161to trebamo kako bi se nosili s odre\u0111enom situacijom u svakom trenutku. Ljutnja nam daje energiju i motivaciju da ispravimo stvari. Strah nam donosi izdr\u017eljivost i opreznost da se bolje pripremimo za no\u0161enje sa situacijom. Ponos nam daje smjelost i pogon da te\u017eimo prema vi\u0161em&#8230;sve te emocije su darovi, no mi trebamo znati kako uroniti u njih i iskoristiti ih u svoju korist.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">6. Surfajte na emocijama poput profesionalca<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ako smo u vodi, vidimo val kako dolazi i ne u\u010dinimo ni\u0161ta, on mo\u017ee pro\u0107i pokraj nas ili nas mo\u017ee povu\u0107i pod vodu. Sa svakim valom koji dolazi, imamo izbor ho\u0107emo li ga poku\u0161ati uloviti, stati na dasku i surfati njime ili \u0107emo pustiti da pro\u0111e. Jednom kad stojimo na svojoj dasci za surfanje i ja\u0161emo na valu svaki pokret ili mirno stajanje su izbor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ove izbore imamo na volju u svakom trenutku u kojem do\u017eivljavamo emociju. Mo\u017eemo izabrati da eksplodiramo ili da kanaliziramo energiju u pronalazak kreativnog rje\u0161enja. Mo\u017eemo izabrati da odustanemo ili da nastavimo. Emocije sa sobom donose prijedloge toga kako bismo se mogli pona\u0161ati, no tu uvijek postoji vi\u0161e od jednog na\u010dina.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Klju\u010d je u tome da se stvarno promotrimo, da prihvatimo i cijenimo sugestije emocija kako bismo se trebali pona\u0161ati, a onda prihvatimo izbor\u00a0djelovanja koji se bazira na odgovoru na pitanje: <em>&#8220;Ho\u0107e li mi to pomo\u0107i da dobijem ono \u0161to ho\u0107u?&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ni\u0161ta se ne u\u010di preko no\u0107i. Svaka vrsta u\u010denja zahtijeva vrijeme, posve\u0107enost, praksu i strpljenje. Isto je\u00a0i s u\u010denjem kako upravljati emocijama. Po\u010dnite s osnovama, tada krenite prakticirati i dajte si vremena da razvijete te nove vje\u0161tine. To nisu najjednostavnije vje\u0161tine za razviti jer uklju\u010duju mijenjanje na\u0161ih navika. No jednom kad pro\u0111ete kroz prvu prepreku po\u010det \u0107ete osje\u0107ati prednosti i itekako \u0107e biti vrijedno toga.
